Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) is the process of testing, inspecting and evaluating materials or components for abnormalities and differences in material characteristics without destroying the performance of the tested part. Most modern NDTs are used in manufacturing, fabrication and in-service inspections to ensure product integrity, reliability and quality.

The mission of our NDT department is to provide exceptional testing and inspection services and unmatched turnaround times to our clients.
Services
PASS NDT offers the following services: Magnetic Particle Inspection, Liquid Penetrant Inspection, Visual Inspection, Certified Welding Inspection and ASNT NDT Level III Consultations.
Magnetic Particle Inspection:
We are equipped to handle Magnetic Particle Inspections in both lab and field environments using fluorescent wet or visible dry particles. For lab inspections, we can accept parts up to 54” long and 12” in diameter. When it isn’t possible to utilize a lab, visible dry powder and wet fluorescent inspections can be performed in the field with certain accommodations.
Liquid Penetrant Inspection:
Our liquid penetrant inspection line has the ability to perform Fluorescent Penetrant Inspections with a focus on water washable and post emulsification. Visible Dye Inspections are also available when field inspections are required.
Visual Inspections:
With an AWS Certified Welding inspector and an ASNT ACCP VT Level II Inspector on staff, we’ve got you covered for all your Visual Weld Inspection needs. We have extensive experience in reading technical drawings and performing fit-up, GD&T and final weld inspections.
ASNT NDT Level III Consultations:
In addition to our inspection services, we also offer consulting services to assist in the creation of inspection procedures, NDT Manuals and Written Practices. We have an ASNT NDT Level III certified in both Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant inspections available for all consultations.
